Common Brushtail Possum (Trichosurus vulpecula)
The following is a photograph of a Common Brushtail Possum trapped at Barrow Island in November 2000. It is the race arnhemensis found in the Pilbara and the Kimberley.

They were very interested in licking the fat off the barbecue after it had cooled down.

A few had white tails.
