The following is a photograph of a White-plumed Honeyeater being attacked by a Yellow-throated Miner at Carnegie Station in August 2003.  The honeyeater played dead while the miner attacked it, before I eventually drove the miner away and found that the honeyeater was alive.  I released it in the middle of a thick bush where it recovered.
