Soft-plumaged Petrel (Pterodroma mollis)

The following is a photograph of a Soft-plumaged Petrel taken on the Hillarys pelagic in June 2002.

Soft-plumaged Petrel is commonly seen off the southern and south west coast of Western Australia in winter and early spring.  They are usually only seen when the depth is more than 100 metres, and more usually 200 metres.
