Long-billed Corella (Cacatua longirostris)

The following is a photograph of an adult Long-billed Corella feeding a juvenile at Big Carine Swamp in Perth in January 2002.

The following is a photograph of a hybrid Galah and Long-billed Corella seen at Big Carine Swamp in Perth in January 2002.

The Long-billed Corella has been introduced to Western Australia probably from birds released from aviaries.  The numbers are increasing in Perth.  I saw one with Galahs at Narrogin in November 2001.
